Perspective Design of Algae Photobioreactor for Greenhouses—A Comparative Study

The continued growth and evolving lifestyles of the human population require urgent development sustainable production in all its aspects. Microalgae have potential various commodities; however, energetic requirements algae cultivation still largely contribute to overall negative balance many operation plants. Here, we evaluate efficiency biomass lipids by Chlorella pyrenoidosa multi-tubular, helical-tubular, flat-panel airlift pilot scale photobioreactors, placed an indoor environment greenhouse laboratory Central Europe.
